What comes through the door

Auto electrical work covers a lot of ground. Here is what actually gets booked in at Fernvale, from a caravan that has lost power to a full touring setup in the back of a ute.

Auto electrics

Diagnostics, fitouts and electrical repairs. If something has stopped working and nobody can tell you why, this is the job.

Auto air-con

Air-conditioning work, including compressor replacement, on cars that have quietly stopped blowing cold.

Tuning

Added alongside the rebrand, and now the first word on the logo, ahead of auto electrics and air-con.

Dual battery and 12V fitouts

Second batteries, DC-DC charging, solar controllers, switch panels and lithium. Utes, canopies, caravans and vans.

Trailer brake controllers

REDARC Tow-Pro controllers fitted. Nick picks them because they are Australian owned and made, and because they stop you every time.

Reverse cameras

Reverse camera and screen installed and wired into the vehicle, so it comes up when you select reverse.

Head units and radio

A new head unit fitted into the dash and wired into the loom. Android units included.

Headlight replacement

Globes and headlight units replaced, so you can actually see what is on the road home.

UHF radios

UHF fitted and wired. One customer had his done at the same time as his dual battery setup.

Plant and machinery lighting

Work lights fitted to skid steers, forklifts and machines. One customer said the switches inside look factory.

The 12 volt end of it

A second battery is the easy bit. The rest is where the job lives: DC-DC charging, a solar controller, a switch panel you can read at night, and lithium sitting behind it all.

The same gear turns up in the smaller jobs. A UHF wired in cleanly. A brake controller for the van. Work lights on a machine, with the switches put somewhere you can reach them.

  • Dual battery systems and DC-DC charging
  • Lithium, solar controllers and switch panels
  • Portable battery boxes with Anderson plugs and fused circuits
  • REDARC Tow-Pro trailer brake controllers
  • UHF radios fitted and wired

“Had Nick install and wire up my 12v Dual Battery set up, I must say, this came out awesome. He also wired up my UHF did a clean job with that also.”

What customers wrote on Google

As a young girl it's hard to find people who are actually honest, helpful and charge reasonably. Nick has helped me and my family multiple times now and has always been friendly, flexible and helped with everything. He always knows what he is talking about and is happy to share tricks and tips with you to also make you better at knowing your own car. When I had my air-con compressor booked in to be replaced, I had a leak a few days before. I called and he asked me to come in right away so he could check it over and have the extra parts ready to install on the booked in date. The end pricing was amazing and so worth it.

Was passing through Fernvale with my caravan when I lost electrical power to the van. Nick solved the problem in 2 mins and got me on the road again without charge. Excellent service and would highly recommend him.

Nick was willing and prepared to go beyond my expectations to remove some faulty equipment in the Navara. Had the car overnight and I paid what he quoted for. Even the extra hours that Nick spent. Top bloke!! Thanks to Nick and crew

Needed some lights installed on a bob cat. Nick did an exceptional job on install as a fair few panels did have to come off, no wires exposed and new switches on the inside that look factory aswell! Will be using again!

A new name, a new workshop, and tuning on the logo

Nick rebranded and, in his own words, went diving headfirst into the world of tuning. It now sits on the front of the logo next to auto electrics and air-con.

The workshop at 13 Fairneyview Fernvale Road is open, so everything from a caravan that has lost power to a machine that needs lights comes to the one place.

What the reviews keep coming back to is simpler than any of that. People get told what is actually wrong with the vehicle, and they pay what they were quoted.

Ring the workshop

Tell Nick what the vehicle is doing. One customer said that after a phone call he knew almost right away what it could be. The workshop is on Fairneyview Fernvale Road, just off the Brisbane Valley Highway.
